Michael Dionne, DNP, PMHNP-BC

Michael Dionne is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner (DNP, PMHNP-BC) with certification in geriatric mental health through the AAGP Certificate Program (2026) and a U.S. Army veteran. His clinical work centers on the people the system most often fails to teach about well: veterans, first responders, and patients with complex presentations, including intellectual and developmental disability.

Meridian exists because too much of clinical training is "show up, observe, sign off." Michael's approach is the opposite — teaching the mental status exam as a real skill, working through the reasoning behind every note, and building board-prep content that reflects how an experienced clinician actually thinks.

He is CAMS-trained, licensed across five states (California, New Hampshire, New York, Illinois, and Idaho), and is building a teaching library that takes what students study for the ANCC PMHNP boards and makes it something you can see — mental-status findings on a real-looking patient, teaching cases mapped to the board-correct answer.
